Fatigue is so debilitating. For a while you survive but it drains your very bones until, one day, you must decide between your health and the tasks which drain you.

I'm glad your friend recognised the fatigue and put voice to it. I know in my case I often did not recognise or even ignored the warning signs of mounting fatigue until it was too late.
