Pro bono service when most needed -
I was managing my own divorce and having trouble navigating the process and documentation, due to the complexity of my circumstances. I had made two attempts, both denied at a hearing, the last one with a clear warning that if I didn't submit the right information the next time I would have my application permanently denied and I would need to start (and pay) again. I turned to local lawyer Adam Mitchell for help. His firm had handled multiple legal processes for me in the past and I trusted him. On this occasion Adam displayed massive patience and understanding in walking me through what I needed to include. He redrafted my submissions into the right format for court. My divorce was granted and a challenging chapter of mine and my ex-husband's lives (he was equally frustrated) put to rest. Then Adam told me he'd decided to gift this particular piece of work to me, and wished me luck for the future. I was overwhelmed by his empathy and generosity.
