Suprise Encouragement - Had a visit from friend whilst processing some challenging news our family had received.
After she left I walked into my room to find it covered with over 20 post notes handwritten with words of encouragement."

Witnessed community support - Whilst visiting a local shopping centre, I witnessed an elderly lady that appeared confused at the entrance to the shop.
She was attempting to sign into the shop with a QR code and appeared to be getting increasingly stressed with, what appeared to be, not working.
As she said out loud "I just need some milk" and looked around, a young man approached her and offered to help.
She gratefully handed her phone to him, put her hand on his shoulder and repeatedly said "thank you for helping me, I just need milk".
The young man appeared to sort her issue out and she hurriedly entered the shopping centre.
Overwhelmed by what I had just witnessed, I approached the young man, caught his attention and said " I saw that you helped that lady, I wanted to tell you how kind I feel that was ". He responded with "Yeah these QR codes can be confusing".
We both then entered the shop. As we did so the elderly lady was coming back with her milk. She saw the young man again and said "Thank you again". He nodded and went on his way
Simple but beautiful interaction.

The Barker - Working from home is a challenge when you have a barking dog that lives behind you. Gorgeous animal and beautiful owners, just a barker. After a particularly barky day, I decided I needed to see if I could calm the poor creature down. As I head down to the back fence, I notice the barking had stopped, I see the neighbour from the other side of the fence calmly talking and playing with him over the fence. We make eye contact, and he gives me the biggest teethy smile, and says ,” Its ok love, I've got him, you go back to work”. Not another bark for the rest of the day. How wonderful are thoughtful neighbours!

Calming force in the fruit and veg section - Was blown away by the kindness of a complete stranger and was unfortunately not in space to thank them in person.
As a sufferer of chronic panic attacks, venturing into the community some days can be an overwhelming challenge.
A quick trip to the supermarket turned into a frightening experience on this day.
Was feeling ok on entering, however with the large crowd and noise that was present I could feel my panic escalating.
After working on my breathing to try and ground myself I looked up and my eyes met the most beautiful set of green eyes in the fruit and veg section.
She walked over to me, placed her hand on my shoulder, looked in my eyes and with a beautifully calming voice simply said, "you got this." Gave me a reassuring node and went on her way.
This quick interaction calmed me to a point I could continue with what I needed to do and leave without incident.

Son did the weekly grocery shopping - The weekend routine in our house is weekly grocery shopping on a saturday moning. I normally do this task with my husband. This week I woke up on saturday morning not feeling well. My son came into my room said good morning and then left. He came back 5 minutes later with a cup of tea, gave it to me and asked for the shopping list. He then said enjoy your tea mum, Ill do the groceries this week, you rest. I was so grateful for such a kind gesture that I didnt ask for.

My Son brought home some milk.
Instead of me probably noticing we needed some milk after work and then needing to the supermarket, he saw in the morning it was low and knowing his mum and how much Tea she drinks on a daily basis, he proactively just picked some up on his way home, popped it in the fridge and didn’t say anything.

Walked into a bustling reception area with loads of people waiting in line and only one receptionist.
As I stood in line, I watched as the receptionist made time to acknowledge every single person in the line with a beautiful heartfelt smile and a simple “sorry about the wait, please feel free to take a seat if you would like and Ill come out to you, I won’t be long”.
She was so calm and moved through everyone with a smile. She saw an elderly gentleman that wasn’t very mobile and quickly moved to helped him get to a chair in the waiting room.
Got to my turn and she quickly booked me in and thanked me for my patience.
Whilst waiting I was reflecting on how beautifully she navigated the huge influx of people in such a calm and positive way.
I had my appointment and went to pay again the receptionist was polite and wished me a lovely day as I was leaving.
I got to the door, turned around and approached her. Again, I was greeted with a beautiful smile and a “can I help you with anything”. I replied with “I just wanted to let you know how kind I felt you were managing the influx of people earlier and I wanted to say thank you” her smile got even bigger, and she replied with “Thank you, I try to be” I reaffirmed her and headed off.

A friend came over to my house to drop some things off to me. We had a quick chat, and I headed back to work.
I then receive a message from him saying “These were sitting on your lawn. Now in one of your pots at the front.”
Can not express the relief I felt that these (earbuds) where no longer on the front lawn as rain was on its way and these would have been ruined. Had no idea they where even missing.
They fell out of my son’s pocket on this way to work. They are used daily and extremely important to him. My friend could have seen them and kept walking to his car, it would have just looked like a lack box amongst my unmown lawn, but that’s not who he is. He saw something and acted. Such a beautifully kind human that saved some potential freak outs in my household that night. Thankyou my friend
