Showed Vulnerability - When playing in game, I stuck up a friendship with another alliance member. They have been openly sharing some of their challenges and encouraging me in my challenges. I wasn't expecting to strike up a friendship that was so supportive in an online gaming environment.

Gifted Resources - While playing in a game online, I have had multiple people gift resources to me expecting nothing in return. This affects their growth in the game and comes at a cost but were glad to share it with me and others with me that are not as powerful. It has helped strengthen the whole group and help initiate other acts of kindness in the group.

An Unexpected Gift - My young son loves diggers and dumpers! I took him on a well deserved excursion to a local Wacker Neuson dealership here in Bendigo to have a look at the diggers in the yard.

The owner came out and said hello, and I explained why we were there. He then offered for my son to sit in one of the diggers, which totally made his day!

After some time, he left and came back with a scale model of one of the machines as a gift for my son! It was a die cast scale and quite intricate, so clearly had value.

It was offered with no strings attached to bless my son. A true act of kindness! Thank you!

Helping With the Kids - Our parents came and helped look after our kids while we were out at an ongoing course over a few months. They made themselves available over the whole time to make sure we were fully available.

Their willingness and dedication to support us in this way is greatly appreciated!

Paint the Posts! - We were getting a patio cover put up, and we were needing to get everything painted before it was built to save time and work painting it afterwards. Along with that is the quiet realisation that if we didn't get them painted now, the thought of having to paint from a ladder would probably meant they wouldn't get painted for a while!

Our parents came over and helped us get through all the painting in the short time we had before the builder arrived! A huge relief!

Helping at Self Service - I was at the supermarket going through the checkout in the self service area at Coles. There was only one serviced checkout open that I could see.

There was an older couple that were trying to go through the self service checkout. They appeared to be struggling to get their groceries onto the conveyor belt and through the self service checkout.

One of the attendants, I think her name was Bella, came over and helped them. She showed no sign of frustration or annoyance, but just gladly helped them by processing all their groceries through the checkout and making sure they were all bagged and in the trolley.

Other staff also stepped in to cover assisting the other checkouts while she was helping them.

It was a special moment to witness.
